THE BREIF
Design a display for MANE that helps people experience a scent through space, visuals, and atmosphere, while sharing a clear message and creating an immersive experience.
THEME - FRAGMENTED
Beauty in the broken, beauty from confusing, multiply vision depending on distance.
FLOORPLAN
An open-plan space with a kitchenette and a social/work area for working, dining, or resting, connected to terraces. Located on the 5th floor
LOCATION
Carrer de Sant Salvador, 70 - 72 Gràcia, Barcelona .
A SPACE, A CONVERSATION WITH YOURSELF
A space where the outer world softens, inviting you to pause and meet yourself. In Sálin, you move gently inward, discovering the quiet depth of intangible and tangible that lives beneath the surface.
ATMOSPHERE AND PERCEPTION
A calm, reflective atmosphere shaped by light, material, and scent. Soft surfaces and shifting reflections blur the line between inside and outside, drawing focus toward the center.
PATHWAY
We placed the experience in the center of the space, reflecting how we as humans hold our inner world at the core.
EXPERIENCE YOUR SÁLIN
Visitors enter from all sides and move through layered openings. Inside, shifting reflections and the scent create a brief moment of self reflection.

How the space is experienced step by step.

Visitors enter the larger space, notice light reflections from different angle, can move freely around.

Walk into the circular space, observe and interact with the tinsel, and reflect.

Inside the core, reflections appear distorted, scent is present, and spheres can be taken to gradually reveal the inner space.
MOVEMENT
Movement is open and unforced.
There is no fixed path, only a gradual pull toward the center.
Materials

Constructed using white Barrisol, a flexible material that can be easily shaped to form smooth, curved surface.
Approach & Entry
The point where guests step away from the outside layer and move toward the inner experience.

White vinyl flooring is used as a temporary floor surface.

The core is defined by golden spheres, where scent is introduced to mark the most intimate part of the experience.

Gold metallic fringe is placed in circular layers to create reflection and invite exploring.
